This unit is designed to enable students to plan, implement and evaluate appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers and young children in early childhood settings. It focuses on requirements mandated in the national and jurisdictional quality assurance and regulatory frameworks, and the underpinnings of curriculum decision making and planning including observation and assessment, socio-cultural contexts, research, children's developmental trajectories and family partnerships.
